Dynasty Wholesale DW117-S Compote bowl

This 16-ounce glazed ceramic bowl is listed as a Compote bowl in Dynasty Wholesales catalog and appears to be a reproduction of an OMC bowl. On the front of the bowl are three women wearing yellow skirts and red bikini tops. All appear to be dancing on a beach. The scene is framed on both sides by two pair of palm trees. Behind the girls are two sailboats on the ocean and further on the horizon is a volcanic island. The reverse side of the bowl is not decorated. The base of the bowl is a pedestal.

On the bottom of the bowl is imprinted “Made in China” and “DW117″.

This 22-ounce, vintage, glazed ceramic bowl stands 3 3/4-inches tall. On the front are three wahine on a beach. One woman is playing the ukulele while the other two dance. The dark-haired women are wearing green grass skirts and red leis. The scene is framed by two palm trees. On the reverse side are two pineapples.

On the bottom is imprinted “Orchids of Hawaii R-86″ and “Taiwan”.

Steve Crane Bird of Paradise Bowl

The vintage Tiki bowl, which looks like an owl, is approximately 7 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches tall. On the bottom of the Bird of Paradise bowl is inscribed “Designed by Steve Crane Associates”.

Tiki Farm Tres Tiki

Tiki Farm Tres Tiki Bowl

This Tres Tiki limited edition Tiki bowl, designed by Von Franco, was manufactured by Tiki Farm as part of their artist series and limited to a run of 300 bowls. My particular mug is number 34. This three-footed bowl stands approximately 3 inches tall, has a brown glazed exterior and a green-glazed interior. It depicts three artists at Tikis: Von Franco, Shag, and the Pizz.

Inscribed on the side of the bowl is “Von Franco”, “Shag”, and “Pizz”. On the bottom of the mug, it reads “© 2003″ and “Von Franco by Tiki Farm”.
